It was rather too warm in November, and the season opening was delayed from 17th to 24th November 2018. It wasn't cold enough to make sufficient snow for the Skicross course, so the Skicross World Cup scheduled for 4th to 9th December has been cancelled.

There is some snow now, but it doesn't go all that far down the valley. According to the official figures, the snow depth is 50cm at resort level, and 66cm at the top of the ski area.

The link to Orelle via boulevard Rosael is open. The avalanche risk is 3 out of 5.
