The duo and 'tribu' price categories introduced in recent years are retained. Where two adults, or three or more adults for 'tribu', buy ski passes together, the price per pass is slightly cheaper than the single adult rate. It exists for Val Thorens, 3 Valleys, and Belleville passes, but only for passes for 6 days or more.
Prices for adult passes have risen by about 2% on 2015-16. For example, the adult daily rate for a Val Thorens pass has increased from €49 to €50 (+2.0%), and the 6 day rate is up from €233 to €238 (+2.1%). The daily adult 3 Valleys rate went up from €59 to €60 (+1.7%), and the 6 day rate from €289 to €294 (+1.7%). There are similar rises in the Belleville pass prices.
There have also been some stealth price increases. The maximum age for a child's free ski pass has gone down from 5 to 4 years old, meaning 5-year-olds now pay the child rate instead of getting a free pass. The maximum age of a dependent child when a family buys a family pass has gone down from 20 to 17 years old. Also since the Roc draglift (which was a free lift) has been replaced by the Stade chairlift, there's one less free lift.
These are the 3 Valleys ski pass prices for the main part of the season, 17th December 2016 to 14th April 2017. Reduced prices apply for periods before and after those dates - see the lift company's price list for other periods.
