Rock On Snowboard Tour in Val Thorens, 1st/2nd December 2012
The Rock On Snowboard Tour came to Val Thorens on the weekend of 1st & 2nd December 2012. They set up their tent village at the Rond Point des Pistes, and there were free tests of the latest snowboards. Brands included Burton, Bataleon, K2, Nidecker, Roxy, and many more.

Down at the tent village, there was a kids zone, for the under tens to try out snowboarding - trop facile!
The Rock On crew also brought a mini-snowpark with them, which was set up on the place Caron.
The band Showtime put on two concerts - in the place Caron, in the early evening, and later at the Grotte du Yeti bar. They come from Paris, and specialise in rock classics from the 1980s. Their lead singer is called El Butcho.
