Funitel Peclet revamp
The new cabins on the Funitel Peclet are in place for the start of the 2012-13 season. There are more cabins, so the lift will take more people per hour, and any queues should be reduced. The cabins have a new seating arrangement inside, designed to make the most of the available space.

The revamped Funitel Peclet was open and running for the first time on Thursday 22nd November 2012. To cope with the increased number of cabins, and therefore the greater weight, a new drive system has been installed. It was running well on opening day, with occasional pauses as the lift was fine-tuned.
The seats are in a sort of spiral, which makes best use of the space.
There are large windows, giving great views. Generally, cabin windows quickly become scratched, as people lean skis up against them. The Peclet cabins have protective plastic velcroed to the inside of the windows, which can be replaced from time to time.
